@TheBreadmonkey You're more intelligent than every ai system I've seen to date, and you're also saner than me, so score yourself 2 out-of 2.

Happy Beginning of the Internet Age Day!
"The first two-network TCP/IP transmission was between the [Packet Radio Van] and ARPANET on August 27, 1976; the van was parked next to Rossotti's (since 1956, officially the "Alpine Inn"), a well-known Portola Valley, California biker bar, and wires were run to one of the picnic tables."

@stefan Well, technically I started using it iin '93 when I got a new computer and 14k4 modem, and then FidoNet.
But further really from '94 when I slowly started with Amateur Packet Radio and switched to using JNOS and OptoSCC cards.
That's when my learning curve into TCP/IP started.
especially for checksums and signatures they're often used to elide who's trying to prove what to whom
wow it's awesome that i understand this polynomial bullshit so much more now. thank you to dillon's 1974 phd thesis i did not realize that discrete logs were forcing my opponent to multiply huge fucking matrices to defeat my little bignums
Defend A/I! “Between now and September 25, preserve the history. Share the story. Build the coalition. Document the isolation. Teach the tools. Prepare a lawful defense. Do not allow the state to quietly establish that building privacy-preserving infrastructure for dissent is itself an act of terrorism. […] Do not leave the knowledge with experts.
Do not leave the infrastructure in one place. Do not leave the targeted to stand alone.”

@huitema @joshbressers @Bubu they like curl's collection of all CVEs in a single json for this purpose
@bagder @joshbressers @Bubu Looks useful, yes. But from a machine learning point of view, I am not sure. There may come a point when pooling too many things together results in a blur. It may be better to do series of focused searches. Or maybe not. Or maybe that depends on the size of the neural network...

The Sub-A-Thon continues as we move into one of the most hotly anticipated blocks of this years show. It's time for Archipelago feat. all these fine folks playing Mario 64, Dark Souls 3, Hollow Knight, Civ VI, StarCraft 2, and Kingdom Hearts 2. This is gonna be fun.
New by Sabot Media x We Will Free Us:
The U.S. government just put an antifascist communications collective on a terrorism blacklist.
For 25 years, Autistici/Inventati has built communications systems designed to survive censorship, surveillance, police raids and corporate interference. Now the state is attacking something harder to seize than a server: the financial and technological relationships that allow that infrastructure to exist.
Now that infrastructure itself is being treated as evidence of terrorism, and solidarity is turning into “material support.”
This isn't only an attack on A/I. It's a warning to anyone building servers, encrypted communications, independent publishing platforms and other infrastructure that makes organizing beyond state and corporate surveillance possible.
Please read and share. September 25th is approaching. Learn what is happening and don’t let the state write the only version of this story.
Plug-in solar panels are now legal in Great Britain!
Hopefully this reduces the barrier to people getting solar at home.

@neil £850 in Argos for a single panel. That's going to take a long time to save any money. No good at all for people under energy payment stress.
Oui oui je vis bien là 😁 #translation
