Look, I know nobody's in "charge" of the World-Wide Web.
But if you are at all adjacent to *any* aspect of authority over how web platforms or protocols operate, and fighting this despicable scourge upon humankind isn't your *top* priority, that is an egregious dereliction of duty and you should step aside.
We are in a life & death struggle for the viable future of the human web. I believe it's still possible for us to win, but the window of possibility is narrowing.
As far as the USA's former allies are concerned, #Trump and #MAGA is what the #USA stand for. Sure, the USA might put a non-MAGA president back in power, but for how long is that going to last?
We thought that George W. Bush was an aberration, and thought we might repair this relationship once Obama was elected. We were wrong. As far as the political world stage is concerned, MAGA is what the _USA_ is, in all ways that matter on that level. And the Republicans are utterly committed to that movement, so any progress made by hypothetical Democrat presidents will be undone by the next Republican president.
There is no fixing this relationship from outside. Thus, we need to divest ourselves of any and all American influence in our politics and economy for the foreseeable future. Pretending that the USA are not utterly hostile to us will only cause us suffering.
My sympathies go out to the Americans who fought against Trump and MAGA. But we need to deal with the reality as it is, not as we want it to be.
@juergen_hubert I‘m not so sure about your all-time MAGA USA. Most of the time US were deeply isolistic Country . That was true even before ww2 . However after WW2 the Marshal Plan was highly appreciated in Europe . Was this MAGA too? And all the anti-communist stuff and all contra “the Reds” ? All just pretext to impose or pretend that US practiced MAGA ?

After an initial cursory inspection of only Walpa Gorge, we went back to Kata-Tjuta for a picnic and a proper walk/scramble to the Valley of the Winds and Karu Lookout.
It had been warm and sunny for some days, and at this point a lot of wildflowers were up all over the place.
Although Uluru is nice, I think Kata-Tjuṯa is nicer. It’s quieter and more secluded, there was more wildlife, and there is more variety in the actual rock. It varies from smooth sandstone to conglomerates with large rocks in them.
No images from inside the valleys, as there are culturally sensitive sites and views and signs to please respect that.
You’ll have to go and see for yourself. I promise it’s worth it. Just go in winter, not summer :-)

@cafuego agree Kata-Tjuṯa is better than the big rock. Big rock just felt tired and worn out, Kata-Tjuṯa felt alive.
