I still can't believe that Microsoft rebranded "Microsoft Visual Studio" to "Microsoft Visual Studio (Not Responding)"
I checked out a new apartment this past weekend, but it was in high demand so my walk through was with several other prospective renters and I think I emotionally and socially blacked out because I can't remember anything about it, but I liked it in the moment and applied on the spot and got it, so I guess I'll actually get to see what my new apartment looks like when I move in next month?
Wish me luck!
@Alice
Good luck, Alice.
Hope your new apartment is everything that you want it to be -- but better.

Great. Now we can't even trust the truthfulness of the photos of the overpriced houses we can't afford and that they won't let us buy.
@alfredbaudisch multiverse cooking sim? 😅
@SnoopJ I used plates because I had Kenney food kit hanging around the Desktop 😅 I wanted 4 differente meshes quickly and got them. But wont use the plates themselves.

I'm not sure how wiping your phone is any worse than choosing own a flip phone, or choosing not to have a phone at all.

@Lana We bought our house almost a year ago and I can attest, we had to go through so much AI shit. They will show you some combinations of furniture in a small space, that is highly suspicious (like no way a full set of living room furniture would fit in there, but picture says otherwise). It’s an abomination

@infobeautiful sub 3 seconds for an 8yo, that's impressive.
I made it into a planet that you can fly around and navigate and interact with any of the 1 trillion instances any time, back and forth (and to prove you don't need a RTX, now I'm running it on a Macbook).
This is turning into something pretty cool. Maybe it's finally time that an experiment into a final game instead of just stopping it at the experiment?

One trillion gems, I mean, one trillion plates of food, one trillion unique instances in Godot, 144fps. Mine, save, load instantly (world is procedurally generated, but once generated, it's unique, all instances remembered). Compute shaders go brrrr 🚀
I've been doing only tool development, so decided to give a few days to new game experiments.

Ha ha, I'm not sure how I feel right now. 😬
I have been working at painting, installing new floors, and fixing a hundred little things in my house since I inherited it from my parents in 2015. It has been a long journey with a broken pipe causing $70 worth of damage a couple of years ago.
Anyway, today I finally finished painting! God I hate painting. I still have a few things to do, mostly cleaning tasks, before I leave Reno permanently on the 28th.
