“Abseits der Touristen-Pfade” / Off the beaten path
My own private Idaho.
There’s a secluded stretch of sandy beach along the Clearwater River (I’m not saying exactly where!) that my family returns to when we visit. If we time it right, we get to have it all to ourselves. I love coming back to this place, which always helps me find my center again.
