🗣️ Tonight during my volunteer shift, a guest told me that to volunteer here, we must be “special” people.

🤝🏽 I shared with him that it isn’t about being special. It’s about our shared #humanity.

Then I asked him, if he had the opportunity, would he volunteer?

👉🏽 Without missing a beat, he said he certainly would.

🎯 That answer says everything about the dignity and humanity that lives in our unhoused neighbors, so often overlooked…
