I'm not happy about the #enshitification of #Discord. I have a 'server' for my close friends and if this age verification shit fucks up something in March then it's deletion time and full migration to #Matrix. Hell I'll even pay for the hosting myself.
But I have this nagging feeling that some of my non-techy friends does not give a flying fuck about any #privacy or #security whatsoever so I fear it's gonna be a tough migration.
Follow up: I'm actually so fed up with this that I just purchased the vps, so just some domain swapping and a couple of hours of setting up #Synapse (?) and we should be live

Og @sandberg, har du noen egne erfaringer med Delta Chat?
@ahaldorsen Praktisk sett at Matrix servere er sultne p氓 ressurser, litt det at det er en litt brokete fortid ogs氓 er det en l酶sning p氓 noe som egentlig allerede er l酶st med for eksempel xmpp. Har sett litt p氓 ejabberd (server) i kveld men er ikke l氓st p氓 den. N氓r det kommer til klienter s氓 tar jeg det etterp氓, men tanken er 氓 l酶se text, tale, video med xmpp som er hovedfunksjonene vi bruker i disco for 酶yeblikket.
