After fixing some issues, migrating my #matrix media off #matrix-media-repo and onto #synapse was surpisingly straightforward.

#TIL that Mattermost is now offering its own bridge to Matrix, which depends on a Synapse instance running alongside the MM server;

This is what RocketChat were doing since about 2022. Although their documentation suggests they are working on full Matrix support inside the RC server itself, due sometime this month;

Question of the day, I have #mastodon hosted on my halis.io domain, same for my #synapse instance, and it works without issues because one uses #activitypub and the other #matrix
But, if I setup a #manyfold instance on the same domain, as in without subdomain, it shouldn’t work, right ?
Would there be a way to converge both manyfold and mastodon under the same base domain ? Or do I have to use a subdomain for one ?
