@Tutanota moving from adobe and icloud to digikam and darktable -- the last step will be to move all photos to tuta drive when it arrives.
@Tutanota
We haven't been on socialmedia except of youtube.
Do you have suggestions for an peertube instance, that suits to our animal shelter channel @FurryAges
There shouldn't turn up videos with adult content, when people searching for our channel.
Are there any alternatives to PayPal yet?
@Tutanota I deactivated my Instagram account last night! 👏🏻
We #DID this through:
★ replacing email service provider to #tutanota
★ changing the OS to #Linux 🐧 , with least prepackaged disros.
★ using @signalapp instead of #WhatsApp.
★ using Telegram & @Mastodon
for publication of our content
Currently, we are looking forward for finding ways to support our efforts locally in Iraq to popularize #FOSS for everyone (no matter how much tech experience has)
@Tutanota For this special Digital Independence Day, you can also contribute to the deGoogle movement 🚀 by installing Sapio on your device 📱 and evaluating the compatibility of your Android apps.
👉️ Let's make developers aware of privacy issues together !
@Tutanota Digital independence day for blind people is as hypocrite as Valentine's day if you are in an abusive relationship, where one gives chocolate hearts to their partner while abusing of them, one day after the other.
No, this is not my way to get angry/envious of people who celebrate good stories. But to remind that too many people can't afford digital independence from multi-billionaires tech, as smaller companies/communities aren't so careful of accessibility (yet). This is due to a very relevant digital gap lasting since 25 years at least, when laws have started to come out before learning. Investments made on empathy-driven campaigns, "you must make it accessible otherwise"... The consequence is we have most 40-50 years old developers who know nothing. And 30-20 years old devs who could learn, but who are gradually being replaced by automated tools which claim to create accessibility automatically while accessibility needs human approach.

@Tutanota great initiative! Here is a website about moving to alternative social media http://xodus.online . Of course people here on Mastodon already have taken some of those steps, but can share the website with friends who may like to learn more.
@xodus_online Thanks for sharing this. We will check it out. :)
