even though the cactoid has absorbed many life forms after which it could choose any body form, it has chosen "cactus octopus" which i think reveals the best that earthly body plans have to offer #monsterdon
from the cactoid's point of view, it is just an ARG player in a game that is baslcally pokemon except you invade non-galactic planets and try and absorb all their different species before they can kill you #monsterdon

it would actually be the most fun katamari game of all time, if instead of just growing a bigger ball, you just became a more and more badass blob that could take hybrid forms picked from all the different creatures you had absorbed #monsterdon
