Journalist Mario Guevara, who was arrested when covering a No Kings protest in Atlanta in June, has been deported to El Salvador. All criminal charges against him had been dismissed by local prosecutors and he was legally authorized to live and work in the U.S. Lawyers for Guevara argued that he was targeted in retaliation for his work as a journalist, in violation of his constitutional rights.
