Lilli sitting on her sweater next to the roots of a conifer - on 21st of Dezember 2022. We had to pull her sweater off because we had 19°C /66°F on the shortest day of the year. The winter sun was beating down on the sand - so we appreciated the conifers shadow.

You can not see this in the picture, but the conifer stands on top of a sandy hill, its roots keeping the sand together (more or less).
