Backlit morning tree casting shadows in the mist and the small tump. Shot out a car window, so happy to capture it.

A large willow tree growing on the bank of an oxbow lake in the warm afternoon sun. The tree grows on the left side of the photo and its crown occupies the upper left quarter of the frame. The trunk of the tree is slightly slanted toward the water. Behind the willow tree, a wide strip of old river water curves to the right in the distance. On the other bank we see some tall trees and a regular strip of low bushes along the river. Above this intensely green river valley a huge blue sky with white clouds.

A tall tree, a kind of acer, standing alone in a grassy space which is a clearing in a forest. You can see its entire shape. The leaves are a lush green against a blue sky with a few tufts of cloud. In the grass around the tree tall foxglove is flowering.
