Before getting diagnosed with #Autism and #ADHD I could never understand the fuss around mindfuless exercises. What do you mean I should notice the ticking of the clock, taste, breath, clothing and the patterns of things in front of my eyes, all at the same time to feel better? As an #AuDHD brain owner I have been doing full-time mindfulness shifts until shutdown forces me to have a break.
It shows for me how useless and harmful popular mental health advice can be for #neurodivergent folks.

Related to my Autism, I have recently experienced so many failures that I am actively avoiding or trying to back out of any implied social contracts to avoid possible or inevitable failure.
