is like saying,
"Harbor seals are more likely to be found swimming in the water that happens to be rushing into a great white shark's rapidly opening mouth."🤡
Dudes have been open and vocal about their desire to drive Black women out of leadership positions in the federal government, higher education, and private industry. That's their goal.
And yet, we still talk about these outcomes as if they're just an unfortunate side effect of generalized downturns.

The difference between being female in a deprived area & in a wealthy area of the UK is around two decades (!!) of healthy life.... the health inequalities across the UK are growing worse, and while the NHS crisis in not the only cause, its certainly not helping! Likewise the two-child benefit cap & other welfare constraints are contributing to this decline in women's expectancies of a healthy 'third age'.
Gender inequality always has a class dimension!
