#LasCrucesNM No Kings 2.0 today. Very upbeat and energetic crowd. Last time we had 1,500 people; this time closer to 2,000. And overwhelmingly positive reactions from drivers. And we had inflatables! 🤪 #nokings #resist #protest #operationinflation #newmexico #lascruces

Today I joined Indivisible Valencia County’s #NoKings protest, where I was invited to speak about the relationship between civil rights and anti-tyranny, and then to introduce the “ICE isn’t welcome here” signs that assert businesses’ rights to exclude ICE from private areas unless agents have a valid judicial warrant. It was a privilege to visit another part of #NewMexico, less populated and redder than Santa Fe but where the protest was vigorous and well-attended. 1/
