That actually worked pretty well. Self-made card edge adapter for HP ham shack power supply. Soldering down those slots a little tough but was able to get a good solder joint along about an inch of wire on each side. Fits nice and tight so it won鈥檛 come off. Need a little more clearance for the resistor soldered on the left. Otherwise good. #electronics #HamRadio #AmateurRadio
I'm working on a connector design to use a piece of FR4 copper clad as the power connector on an HP power supply (it has a card edge exposed). This should give a large contact surface area vs the bolts I see people drilling through these. Plus, it's removable. The slots are for soldering power wires to the copper clad in place. The wires will come out the top. If this works, I'll add a fuse block on the side that takes automotive blade-type fuses. #diy_electronics #electronics
My 12 year old CMoy headphone amplifier build got a battery compartment upgrade! The battery has banged around in there for 13 years, but now it will stay there nice and firm. Fun little design, easy print. I got the radius slightly wrong on the corners but it fits well anyway. #Electronics #3DPrinting
some technical specs from their website for anyone interested - and certainly more skilled than me in this because I'm still under a learning curve around radio stuff 馃
