My Soviet Germanium PNP class A transistor audio amp works! Needs a little tuning but sounds pretty good! Definitely “old Fi” rather than hifi but that’s what I wanted. This was based on a circuit from MIT but seriously modified b/c of the transistors I had available. I’ll post a schematic. Very happy I got this working well!
Transistors are 2x MP-39 for voltage gain and 2x P-214G Darlington power transistors driving 8ohm cheap speakers.
