Today I spent most of the day at the Meiji Jingu garden and Yoyogi Park. It is full of birds of different species, some more numerous than others.
Here’s a thread of the bird pics I took, starting with the star of the show, this gorgeous Kingfisher who posed for me for a while, as well as a crow whose call sounded like someone saying “ah ah” monotonously.

Because of the lack of freshwater
They need to hunt at the coast line,
especially in one of the many coves and caves
Sark has only one bigger pond but it doesn't provide
reasonable hunting grounds
