Would anyone in or around Berlin be open to do a short presentation / demo of the Amateur Radio scene and different activities to a group of musicians?

#amateurradio #hamradio #pota#parksontheair activation on the #lewisandclarknationalhistorictrail along the Ohio River at Louisville,Ky started great with #buddipole #dipole then with downhill quickly. Didn't help switching to #vertical but managed 12 CW #morsecode #QSOs

I finally finished my #QMX build! Took ages to take the time and finish it but here it is. After some debugging and reworking some solder joints it seems to work!
I just tested it on a dummy load because I don't have a BNC to PL plug adapter. So no QSO for now.

A picture of a desktop with the QMX QRP transceiver sitting in the middle. There are also batteries, a dummy load, morse keys and other tools on it

Recently started learning #morsecode , although it's completely useless to me. Sometimes it helps to understand why things developed like they did when you go back in time, when remote communication started. And I love having a #lowtech fallbacks.

It's like learning #ed in order to understand concepts of #vim.
