Moved the double bass from the lounge room into my (now pretty cramped) studio/office to be able practice this weekend without bothering the family. Now that it’s here I’m tempted to run it through my modular and/or pedals to see what kind of weird noises I can make.

Thanks to the prompting of several people I decided to do a quick recording of the bass through my small eurorack set up.

The main effect is the Sarajewo delay and the Three Sisters filter with its cutoff and resonance modulated by CV from a Kris sequence to get all the background pops and blurbles.

Very interesting exhibit by Scott Myles at the modern art museum in #glasgow. Lots of microphones, one of which mics the air recycling unit is fed into an #eurorack for some ambient drones accompanied by some deep low punches.

There're also giving away a cool poster that I have no way to safely transport :/

Another point of interest for me is seeing adam audio speakers in a museum. Usually i see genelecs so I'm curious if the speakers are the artists'.
