Finally made some more progress on Resident Evil 2.
I played a section as Ada! And I recovered, finally, the Club Key!

I've gotten a few more keys and made more progress, I've also gotten jump scared quite a bit by monsters jumping out of windows 
In any case I feel safe now because Ada is with me

Okay. I must give props to #Capcom because the map of this game is kinda cool for the time. This is basically a #Metroidvania and it has actually been pretty easy to follow along the path without getting too lost.
I made it to this library place using the Spade Key and solved a puzzle. It's cool that the game throws away the items you no longer need 😜

I safely made it to the police station, but this window seems sus
I keep exploring the Police Station in #ResidentEvil2 and finally found this safe box, must say, it's not the best reward ever lol

Halfway through #ValkyrieProfile and so far it's living up the high expectations. First chapter or so was a little touch and go, but once things click into place, they click hard.

Spent an hour on, like, figuring out what to do at the second #ValkyrieProfile boss. It was clear I needed bows but had none and the short bow I supposedly found earlier was gone (broken?). In the end I found the menu option Divine Item allows you to craft gear at a save point. This was exhausting, lol.
It's weird to me this game ever left the zeitgeist with how unique it's mechanic is - put in any CD and it will generate a monster for you!
How is that not awesome??
Also, as unholy as it feels, the CD doesn't have to be a music CD... 😉

Just submitted a patch to #Guix[1] fixing #PCSXR, a PlayStation 1 emulator! It was a fun little day project getting it fixed, but I really gotta stop with these patches, my uni work is suffering :(( Getting that green 'built successfully' is so addicting...
