The paper tray is open, showing some packaging material that was put inside for protection. The machine itself appears to be just about brand new, or fixed up to near perfect condition, even though it was made around 1986, so it must be nearly 40 years old. Looking at the keyboard, many of the shift key symbols over the number keys are different than what we are used to now, and around the sides there are several keys that point to alternative functions, not all of which I can remember the use of.

A sample of LTC Remington Typewriter. It is similar to Typewriter Elite, with balls and fillets; there is a little more "spring" in the /h /m /n /r (the arch has a lower junction on the left, and the top of the arch is further to the right). The /two has a wavy bottm, the /three has a flat top, the /four is close, the seven has a top-left hook (or beak) and has a wavy top and an ogee diagonal.
