So fascists can raid neighbors, say that “some schools shootings are a fair price to pay to keep our rights to bear guns”, racially profile regular citizens, call for ethnic hatred and forced deportations, call for suspensions of free speech, encourage mass surveillance, impose their views upon academic discourse, call for limitations to the right to protest…
And then when one of them gets a bullet in their skull and gets back the fruits of the hate they spread it’s the LEFT that should confront its extremists?
Someone should remind #TheEconomist that the only good fascist is a dead one, that violence against those who represent a violent threat to society should not only be tolerated but encouraged (especially when governments and police forces fail to protect people), that free speech doesn’t apply to them (something that even a balward of liberalism like Popper understood), and that we didn’t win WWII by getting into talking terms with Hitler and Mussolini but by murdering them and those who supported them. And that back then news outlets didn’t put the blame on the partisans as “radicalized far left” (except, of course, the news outlets that we’re aligned with fascist regimes)
