The web shop jetpens has a way to search for “no phthalates” and their Prop 65 warnings are clearly labeled and say what the trigger is. 🙌🏻

(Even when I’m not buying from them I use them as a resource.)

I got my 2026 #hobonichi planner with its beautiful Junji Ito cover art set up but it needs a clear cover to hold up from wear and tear.

Most of the traditional covers include pthalates, and I'm wondering what other types of clear material I could use more safely?

Its been a very long time since I posted my last low histamine recipe. Trying to get to this when I can and actually turn it into a recipe book as I go along. The new one is now live, hope it gives someone some yum or an idea!

the big question is after we've managed to cook the whole house to tolerable formaldehyde/VOCs, how long will it take my #MCAS to stabilize?

It'll probably have been a about year of environmental exposure by the time we finish the cookouts, so I'm guessing the answer is on the longer side.

New weird MCAS symptom? Food that isn't actually spicy tastes "spicy", kinda like the sensation in the mouth after eating something peppery or with chili in it.

It's very weird. Like, I just ate a Twix (chocolate can trigger MCAS attacks) and after eating, I had the sensation of something peppery on my tongue.

But gosh damn I really wanted a chocolate bar.
