The government does not track how often immigration agents hold Americans. So ProPublica did.
We found more than 170 such incidents since the start of the second Trump administration. Our tally — almost certainly incomplete — includes people who were held for days without a lawyer. And nearly 20 children, two of whom have cancer.

@ProPublica Good work, but this DOES NOT mean that the way they are treating migrants is ok. No human should be treated like this. Nobody!!!
@ProPublica It is even worse - like the musician playing a clarinet that they arrested for "assault", a charge that is not credible. Clarinets can cost thousands of dollars, with levers and springs allowing holes to be opened and closed. You don't want to risk damaging one, so a musician carrying one is not going to start attacking the police, ICE, or anyone else.

Next they came for immigrants but I said nothing for I am not an immigrant.
Then they came for citizens with brown & black skin and I still said nothing because I wasn't either.
Now, they're coming for me just because they can. WTF!
