@tante I am pretty sure their ideal world, and the ideal world of all these companies, is to have their chatbot intercede twice in _every_ communication.
It should change your outputs to remove nuance from your meaning, and then expand it so the entropy goes too low for a person to stand reading it. So, others must summarise with a bot. A second chance to inject what they want.
They want us to feel small if we don't use it to produce, and to feel overwhelmed if we don't use it to consume.

People are taking action. There are protests everywhere, everyday. Strong progressive candidates are running fir office. There is only so much that can be done when we are out of power. But, the electorate is energized.
It is very hard to see what they are doing everyday, but this will not last forever. Elections matter, and we are going to crush them in November, and then begin to turn this around. It just takes time given the US political system.
A large percentage of the US's Black population is concentrated in the South. Writing off these places as "backwards" & "unredeemable" is writing off many of the MOST systemically oppressed people in our country.
The fantasy of "getting rid of the red states" is a fantasy of jettisoning the most vulnerable people in our entire country & leaving them without protection because you consider them someone else's problem.
