The random Effective Altruist troll paid by billionaires to push disinformation about the environmental impact of AI (that its fake), being platformed on the Time 100 AI list tells you everything you need to know about mainstream media's role in the pushing the broligraphy's propaganda and disinformation. This troll suddenly became popular through coordinated social media campaigns.
@TheBreadmonkey May I recommend Internal Family Systems therapy. I have found it more effective than any other modality, including two years of eye-wateringly expensive psychoanalysis that I did in my 20s. Two years of semi-regular IFS has unlocked an awareness of my capacity for self-empathy (which of course spills out into compassion for the entire world) that I never had access to previously.
Ooh not heard of this before. This very much speaks to how I view my mind. I always talk about my different selves and recognising there's not one universal person always in the driving seat. Will investigate further.

A must-read for anyone who uses LibreOffice and cares about the possibility of continuing to use it. Note:

And if you use LibreOffice at work, get your company to buy it. It’s the right thing to do, in the best interest of the company.

For reasons my retirement has been paused and I took work with an Inuit owned construction company currently building a 12 plex apartment. And soon a daycare. It’s 10 hour days, six days a week. Following that it’s make supper and then work on the workshop. And some family time before bed.
