A towel ... is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitch hiker can have
Any man that can hitch the length and breadth of the Galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through and still know where his towel is, is clearly a man to be reckoned with.
This is the first solar panel installation in #Greece I've seen. This one is still WIP.
Stable sunny weather and still no interest in solar electricity here (there are many solar water heaters though). Not even large businesses like the hotel resorts where it makes total sense: they need electricity primarily during the high season in summer.

i assuke both, None and Scopes were fundamentally flawed so they couldnt be upgrqded with what motivated `nudl`?
@serapath Tukan will be no Godot. Asset support will be quite limited. There will be no big support for importing image formats, wave files, Blender models etc. Its primary purpose is in supporting this particular game.
"None" was a lispy layer on top of Terralang. The incompatibilities between Lua and C made metaprogramming difficult, so I prototyped a multi-stage compiler that only depends on itself, and this became Scopes.

Well, sorta. Less than $30k of the pellet is deuterium/tritium. The rest is metal and plastic to handle the laser, none of which is needed after ignition begins.
The whole point of ignition is that it is self-sustaining. Once an H-bomb begins fusion, it doesn't need special care to keep going. A single hohlraum with enough D/T could equal Tsar Bomba (not recommended).
Anyhoo I'm done, everyone else can have the last word.

I praise A/I and their efforts of infrastructural support of various communities around the world for more than 25 years already. It is one of the autonomous tech collectives that inspired me the most when I was only starting to get into self hosted tech. They have always demonstrated the way of being both technically robust and politically coherent.

It's been a long journey, but our paper on "AI and Collective Data Governance in Crowdsourced Citizen Science: A Normative Framework Approach" has finally been accepted at HDSR!
My former colleague Ann Borda & I looked at how so-called "AI" systems could impact #CitizenScience and the role that collective data governance could play.
