Je pense que l'initiative a des chances de réunir pas mal de monde, et même s'il y a beaucoup à dire sur Janco et ses idées, sa proposition me parait apartisane, et donc aller dans le bon sens avant les élections, quelque peu angoissantes, de l'année prochaine....

I need the power of the #fediverse : For an upcoming presentation I am looking for examples many people will understand where the software caused consumer electronic devices not to work anymore.
E.g. company decided not to update the software which caused the device to stop, company disappeared and e.g. servers not available and therefore the device did not start anymore, etc.
Currently interested in some fresh examples I could use. Any pointers?

La CNIL en a très clairement rien à foutre du RGPD, et si vous ne mettez pas ceci, elle soutient que vous étiez tout à fait conscient de pouvoir finir dans des bases de prospection commerciale après du scrapping massif. Et que vos données soient revendues.

#NOWHERE is a videogame and our end product. It has a "procgen assets only" rule, so it needs a engine+GUI for fast iteration.
This engine is supposed to be #tukan, which needs a PL for procgen, and should ideally be expandable by the same PL.
This PL was first None (2014), then #Scopes (2016), and now finally #nudl (2024).
For parsing, nudl uses #sxpp which is a parser & preprocessor for SX, a format developed for Scopes.
There is also #libarcmem, a refcounted memory safe heap.

Over the last month or so... I've gone from 'how could they hire some one who plagiarised their work.... to how could the media have gone on such an obvious racist witch hunt for a man because of some accusations of plagiarism... To... oh... it was designed to be a racist witch hunt by a zionist right wing extremist who wasn't even qualified for their own post, let alone to comment on the accuracy of others.
This is how the media twists the narrative... how it can take weeks to get down through the dirt and bias.
But by then the damage is done... and no matter if the allegations have any grain of truth to them... the hounding of Jason Arday will be remembered for what it really was... a direct attack on his character by fascist, racist loving white supremacists who couldn't stand the fact that a black man had achieved a high position of academia and influence... that led directly to his death. They didn't pull the trigger, but they loaded the gun, handed it to him and kept chanting 'pull the trigger'
