@raphaelmorgan right now i think there's a more pressing need for anonymity-preserving messaging and i have recently figured out how this might be achieved (tor and i2p do not perform what i consider to be relatively basic requirements) but even that would still need to be built upon a more fully-fleshed-out p2p double ratchet message encryption protocol. i think once those two layers are set then i will consider private money to be achievable but one of the other mistakes cryptocurrency makes because it is very unserious was doing money before defining what privacy or anonymity means

I saw yet another “CSS is a massively bloated mess” whine and I’m like. My dude. My brother in Chromium. It is trying as hard as it can to express the totality of visual presentation and layout design and typography and animation and digital interactivity and a few other things in a human-readable text format. It’s not bloated, it’s fantastically ambitious. Its reach is greater than most of us can hope to grasp. Put some *respect* on its *name*.

Aber: Wie machen wir RSS und ActivityPub bereit für den Mainstream? Wird nicht allen gefallen. Aber wollen wir nicht allen in der Gesellschaft Zugang zu dieser sozialen Errungenschaft geben? So selbstverständlich wie ÖPNV und öffentliche Plätze? Da sind wir noch lange nicht. Leider.
