Wondering if the fediverse - and Mastodon in particular - is undergoing a major spam / bot signup wave at the moment.

I'm noticing an uptick in people following me who have weird usernames (lots of numbers), no profile photo, and 0 followers - I'd say 90% of new followers from the past week or two. (Disclaimer: I don't like the word "follower", it sounds cultish)

What gives?

Selon les observations, le nombre de morts est passé de 0,06 par mois avant la loi à 0,32 après la loi. Il a donc bien été multiplié par cinq.
Les refus d'obtempérer ont augmenté nettement moins vite que les tirs mortels lors de ces refus.

Drought in our area is becoming incredibly heavy. Many gardens have given up. But we're still watering because what we grow us not just crops but hope for those in need.
