I got an email warning about "ticket scams" and immediately thought of Jira.
People should really be clearer about what they mean.
@neil to be fair, a lot of the Jira tickets I've come across are indistinguishable from scams - Project Manager expectations as realistic as the million Rand I've apparently just won and the issue's description as gibberish-filled as the scammer's terribly written message.
Come to Babylon 5, we have:

* Uptight bisexual latent telepath
* Sarcastic cop who plays it fast and loose
* Scene-stealing diplomatic attachés
* Trans-coded lady literally cracks her egg in season 2

It's so hard to be Summer.
She has to keep an eye on, not one but two, humans who don't always stay in the same spot.
I dare say it's a little easier to keep track of my husband.
Because, it's the end of the day, and she doesn't want to put out any extra effort she stays perfectly still and just moves her eyes back and forth.
Multitasking while keeping her bear close too.
A dog of many talents.
She hasn't lost any of us yet.

The Labour Party no longer has an answer to this, if it ever did!

@Gargron nope. That digital behaviourism stuff is not true. You are/were interested in it and actively pursued it. Contrary to the average Mastodon user's beliefs (apparently), most people are not inherently interested in tech. They use it, but hate having to deal with it.

When I was growing up, we had operating systems that exposed a lot of the technical details about their inner workings, and websites that let us use code to customize them, like MySpace and Geocities. UX designers in tech have since optimized away most of the stuff that allowed and encouraged people to learn to use technology and now people get confused by files and browser tabs. And as the knowledge shrinks, more and more things have to be simplified away. I only ever see it as a one way road.
