I just remembered that we used to have to park our drive heads on MFM and RLL hard drives. There was a "PARK" command you'd use to tell it to move the drive heads off the platters, so if you were physically moving your computer, you wouldn't have to worry about it banging into the platters.

Thus capital, money, rich people, can seek the cheapest labor price (typically associated with the lowest labor rights), while the poor are essentially confined to easily exploitable economic zones.
