To clarify moderation on #HolosSocial. A relay moderates like #Mastodon: it blocks accounts and stops their content from spreading.
On Mastodon, a ban cuts the account off from followers, follows, and messages. On Holos, keys and data stay on the device, so no relay can lock it in.
Without a custom domain, a move to a new handle stays possible. With one, the identity is portable and can point to another relay. Owners keep everything, and reporters stay protected, as their relay blocks it.
You are loved ♥️

Won't someone think of the poor CEO's performance bonus!

“Without complete and prompt access to relevant unredacted records held by the United States Department of Justice (‘USDOJ’), survivors of serious criminal conduct at Jeffrey Epstein’s Zorro Ranch in New Mexico are being denied justice,” Torrez writes. “Every day that the USDOJ withholds these records, the foundation upon which a New Mexico prosecution could be built erodes. Witnesses relocate and become unreachable.”
The Haaland-Bellingham affection is endearing
does anyone know of a "I know electronics and a moderate level of EM theory, but I'm not a radio guy" resource for how multi-frequency antenna design is done? is it always just tuned around integer fractions of some wavelength to get "close enough" to everything, or is there some trick to getting decent performance for some small set of arbitrary frequencies with noninteger relationships?
And here it is in the house in its folded state. While not as compact as Brompton models with 16 inch wheels, it’s still a startingly small package. And it’s a startlingly fun bike to ride 😀🚴♀️❤️
@uxMark oooh! want!

It's worth following @davidgerard and listening to his podcast. He researches the horror so you don't have to.
BSNES bundles its own equivalent "Nall" to the C++ standard library (I said it was suprisingly self-contained!) covering:
* Multithreading
* Classifications to annotate the typesystem
* Memory management via unique & shared pointers
* Casting
* Enums a.k.a. "variants"
* Read/write variable-length ints & other data
* Wrappers around ints, pointers, & anything else
* Auto-generated accessors
* Pseudorandomness
* Ranges & iterations thereupon
* Reed-Solomon error-correction
* Matrices
1/2?
* I/O such as colourful terminals, SMTP, shell commands, serial, filesystem, directories, files with or without buffering, commandline args
* Datastructures such as arrays (several variants), hashsets, strings, suffix arrays, queues, hashmaps, byte-arrays, hashsets,
* Maybe types (indicating at compiletime that a value may be missing)
* Merge, Induced, & Counting Sort
* Bit manipulations & endianness
* Times
* Dynamically-linked libraries
* Comparisons
* Checks over collections

Dear readers,
You may have experienced access issues over the past couple of days. Our site was under attack, but we are currently restoring its functionality.
We’ve just posted an update on our forum https://lib-talk.io/viewtopic.php?t=113
On the forum, you can find access links and useful information, and share your ideas and experiences.
Also need to go look up the polarity of an LED. I never remember this. I have looked this up a hundred times. But it does not stick. #led #electronics
@ai6yr positive lead longer, flat side on negative.
Numerical wisdom of wiring a connector rated for 60A to one rated for 2A left as exercise for the student.
@Unixbigot joke’s on you, none of those connectors are rated for continuous 60A
hahaha
HaHaHaHa
