Question:

What kind of posts do you miss when you're on the Fediverse?

It's not a shock that a lot of people who join the Fediverse struggle to find posts about things they care about. But for established Fedi-veterans, it's harder to know what is still missing.

Please let us know what you miss and if you have any idea on how the Fediverse could patch the gap in the comments!

@newsmast A tip for those missing sports: I follow sports here via hashtags: , , etc.

In my experience, Mastodon works better if you follow accounts for people, and hashtags for topics. I also follow the hashtag for my city.

In preparation for next year's World Cup, part of which will take place in Mexico City, the Mexican state has begun implementing a new protocol to contain demonstrations - basically the deployment of overwhelming force - beginning with protests against gentrification in the city.
