- Bring back a proper view for regular chat history and normal ChatGPT Projects
- For Work, let users choose between local filesystem or web-based sandbox (web-based
Work threads sync; local ones need Remote)
- Sync plugins everywhere! Right now if you connect a plugin on web, it doesn't show on Mac. Wild.
- Offer option to unify memories
- Faster switching between Chat/Work/Codex

@whitequark in .au they’re called “pressure over release valve” and found on tank storage style hot water systems to prevent the tank turning into a pressure vessel due to over-heating. Completely passive device, just works on pressure differential, and available in wide range of activation pressures.
If you do this, you’ll need a different interlock to stop the pump from running if the reservoir runs dry (which you probably should add anyway)

@idzie My partner's rescue was exactly the same when he first came home then within a few weeks he got used to people schedule and settled in in much the same way. Enjoy the kitty cuddles!

The rollout of the unified ChatGPT for Mac app really isn't going well on X/Reddit 🥶
They kinda fumbled it and I think Anthropic did a slightly better job on first try. Even OpenAI's existing iOS app makes more sense than their new Mac layout right now.
The difference between "normal" chatbot chats, Work/Cowork harnesses with connectors, and Code/Codex local threads and filesystem access is the new UX hell for these companies.

Can anyone recommend some relatively affordable managed #Mastodon hosting?
We've been with the absolutely fantastic Masto.host since starting Writing.Exchange in 2017, but it's become prohibitively expensive -- especially for a community of only ~250 active users, as our hosting costs are about to increase another $50 to $589/month this month.

@jatowler The little floating box is a no-go for me too. I think they need a “Chat” toggle (along with Work and Codex) that has a much more streamlined UI. Simple chat list on the left.
