When you've got to the point where things are too bad to bear, it is too late for you to travel, too late for you to take this option.

There are no arguments against AD, it is about *Body Autonomy* and palliative care is just death by morphine overdose (and yes, not all pain can be dealt with opiates). I lost both parents in palliative care from morphiine overdose. It’s not a dignified way to pass. It tore my heart to pieces and am damned sure it wasn’t easy street for mum or dad.
Fuck christofascists and they holier than thou attitudes. They are nothing but religious hypocrites and a bunch of bigots.
Take care Paul
Republicans in the House and Senate had no clue that Trump was going to promise $5,000 checks to the American people, but they say that the idea is already dead. LOL!

Hell yes I will delete for a typo. This is yet another reason I am not cut out for Big Posting.

I've been really enjoying the sci-fi series Silo.
And so naturally I had to read the books it was based on.
Now today I learn that the author of the books got so sick of all the current word processors and writing software that he made his own novel writing word processor.

Were any of y'all paying attention to the #Houthis in #Yemen? Cause I'll be honest, I'd did not have Houthis control the Suez Canal on my bingo card.
This means that #Iran and her proxies now control chokepoints of more than 35% of the world's total oil production. They've said they'll only attack #Saudi ships, but they've still put a claim on the Red Sea and the #Suez. In the game of Risk, that's a bold move.
It raises the heat level of the conflict zone considerably.

Don’t buy the lie about a war on cars. They’ve been waging a WAR ON WALKING for a century.
Once we open our eyes to the damage done by the #WarOnWalking, it’s impossible NOT to see it.
And when we finally try to improve things, giving more options for people to get around our cities, and decreasing car DEPENDENCY, they have the audacity to claim that’s a #WarOnCars.
This is our new campaign by the Urban Truth Collective. https://www.urbantruthcollective.com/
Time to achieve better cities for EVERYONE.
I'm reading a lot of books and other longform content for my research.
I won't be lurking around that much. Time is vice.
Shit is getting too real for me.
Just some cringy puns here and there to keep myself from going insane.

There's a lot of folks complaining (rightfully) about the money being thrown toward Omarchy while other FOSS projects are struggling for funds.
I'm not a tech billionaire or millionaire (thousandaire, maybe?) but all this reminds me I could do better at donating to things I use myself. So I'm going to throw some money at two projects I use, and try to remember to keep doing that more regularly. I humbly suggest other folks do the same. It'd be great to see a few FOSS projects report a big bump in donations as a protest against DHH.
A lot is being said about DHH's politics and the silliness of throwing money at what amounts to a pile of configuration scripts -- but there's something else at play here: it is an us-against-them play by a minority of wealthy folks who like keeping other people divided.
FOSS isn't about that: open source became mighty because of its community. If we lose that, we lose everything. A handful of people with too much money have managed to funnel something like $13 million into Omarchy for the next few years. What can millions of people do? Let's see.
