The Department of English at Davidson College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in Creative Nonfiction and the Literature of the Sciences at the Assistant Professor level, beginning July 1, 2027. An M.F.A. or Ph.D. in Creative Writing is expected by the date of appointment, along with a strong record of publication in creative nonfiction. Undergraduate teaching experience is preferred. Davidson is particularly interested in candidates dedicated to undergraduate teaching and to a sustained creative practice.
