No donations yesterday. Hoping we can at least raise enough to get one night by the end of the day. We only have today still booked. Thats why i trying to start raising yesterday. Really hoping we don't have to deal with a last minute pleading to stay sheltered situation AGAIN tomorrow morning.

I'm so exhausted and sick of this all. All the resources here suck and don't apply, and local housing groups are basically useless. I don't know what the hell we're supposed to do when our EBT runs our and it doesn't come back next month.

Hello fedi. Since @LukeOrion and I were fortunate enough to be able to secure today and tomorrow already, I am trying to get a head start on the next two nights. We’re trying to raise a goal of $133 to cover staying inside for Monday and Tuesday.

I’ve been working really hard to get myself setup on freelancing sites for audio work and website building commissions, and Luke has been busy with art commissions. We’re trying our best to support ourselves while disabled, trans, and homeless with limited options.

The good news is that fedi donations have helped me not have negative money.

The bad news is that this is still pretty far short of the support I need to stay on track to being stably housed long term.

I'm going to be 25 days late on important bills that were due the 1st of October, anything continues to help.

Hello fedi. Thanks to the generosity of kind people on here this morning, my partner @LukeOrion and I already have enough to keep staying inside tomorrow. Trying to see if we can raise the remaining $56 we would need to be able to book the next two nights inside. If we could book them together it would save us money versus doing it a day at a time.

Thanks to the help we got this morning and being able to stay inside today Luke will be able to have their important telehealth therapy appointment. I was able to finally get set up with an account on Upwork to try and get work for myself.

What a day, definitely a good news and bad news kinda situation.

First the bad news is my ex today filed a THIRD round of false allegations in civil court. They seem to be avoiding actually going to family court for some reason.

So we'll have yet another hearing now on November 6th. I still have not been able to see my daughter for months.
