So I don’t disagree that silksong is amazing. But Clair Obscure has made the turn-based mechanic feel exciting, has the visual style, a great story and a lot of beautiful music. To me it offers more novelty than silksong which is just a goddamn high bar!

I added support for displaying blurhashes as image placeholders in #Smithereen on the web. In what is probably the most cursed way possible. It turns out every browser supports the BMP file format, which is just a simple header followed by the raw pixel data. So, here's what I did:
@grishka BMP also has some row alignment requirements iirc. Don't know if it's relevant for blurhash images though.
The European Commission is currently acting in the proud tradition of people like those who once decided that it would be such a great and innovative idea to put asbestos into buildings.
History won't judge them kindly! Unless, of course, the slop-induced brain rot will make people unlearn who we have to thank for the mess we will be in.
