Ich gehe heute nicht so ins Detail, aber ein paar Kommentare kann ich mir doch nicht verkneifen.
Die EU-Kommission bezeichnet den #DigitalOmnibus als Simplifizierung, also eine vermeintliche 'Vereinfachung'. Tatsächlich handelt es sich aber um Deregulierung. Einfacher wird es für #BigTech-Unternehmen, die sich nicht an europäische Regeln zum Daten- und Verbraucherschutz halten wollen. Nicht einfacher wird es für die Menschen. Stattdessen sollen z.B. DSGVO Auskunftsrechte eingeschränkt werden.

Erste positive Überraschung, die nichts mit dem Inhalt zu tun hat: seit dem letzten Mal im Dezember, dass ich eine Parlamentssitzung vor Ort verfolgt habe, wurde das Einwählen ins Gäste-Wi-Fi vereinfacht. Bisher gab es für jeden Tag ein neuen Passwort. Das hing zwar quasi überall an jedem Pfeiler und jeder Ecke, aber natürlich nie genau da, wo ich gerate sitze. 🤷
Jetzt ist es einfach ein offenes Wi-Fi.
