Wow if only there had been any indication this guy was creepy. Like if he talked in a creepy voice and had creepiness virtually oozing from his pores from the get-go and was trying to sleazily talk his way into something when you met him.

Yesterday I moved the goat fence, then harvested tomatoes, garlic (SO MUCH GARLIC), chokecherries, and beans until it got too dark to see (and then I kept harvesting a bit longer to try to get as many beans as possible before the rain started, while my partner seeded covercrop onto ground that was FINALLY the right moisture level to till).
Now trying to convince my surprisingly sore body that it's canning day! Hopefully can make chokecherry, raspberry, and apple/plum jam today.
