I'm blaming the wallaby on the form, but I do keep second guessing myself. Maybe if I had immediately swerved all the way onto the wrong side of the road while braking I *might* have been able to pass behind it. Or, given that it hit the front right corner of the car after heavy braking, maybe if I hadn't braked at all I could have passed in front of it. Easier to come up with those ideas in hindsight than in the split second I had to decide what to do, though.
Also, who takes the time to look down and check their speedometer at the moment of impact? The only people who could possibly answer that question about speed at impact would be people who had access to a recording of the incident on an integrated or GPS equipped dashcam, and the rental cars don't have them.
@spacelizard the wording “at fault” is insurance-company code for “who is going to pay for this damage”. Animals don’t have any money to pay for the repairs, so the insurance company will come back and tell you that you’re at fault and now you have to tell your own car insurance company that you’ve had an at-fault accident

Se venisse approvata sarebbe una lama a doppio taglio soprattutto se certi confini vengono definiti male.
Questa "boutade" di Agosto, soprattutto le norme proposte per i ciclisti, sembrano molto una campagna elettorale, qualcosa per comprare approvazione e poi lasciare ai posteri le correzioni .

Beautiful and love the LED bar, but the paddle sometimes doesn't respond, seems like an unfortunately wide spread issue (and a dealbreaker) for such an expensive switch.
