early fantasy vs. late fantasy

FAR more emphasis on character. I left epic fantasy behind long ago, but even over the last 5-years, the lens through which I view my stories has grown increasingly intimate.

Kovenlore Chronicles, in a way, reflects this, as the camera slowly zooms in over the course of the books, which were written between 9 & 4 years ago.

The book I’m drafting is almost a metaphor for the change, the city choked with fog.

I used to desperately polish my work while hiding myself as I wrote it. And now I let the rough edges show, because that's where most of my voice exists.

I still have some similar loves. I love to write a protagonist that isn't the hero of the story. I still write character-first. But I'm also a different person now.

@futurebird LLMs are designed to produce plausible bullshit. But if you know enough about the subject to reject plausible bullshit, why are you asking an LLM?
