@cmconseils #books and #libraries people would like this bench in Zaporizhzhia
My mother-daughter witch novel Lessons in Magic and Disaster comes out in paperback this August.
And you can pre-order a special signed copy from Bookish Signs & More with ✨sprayed edges✨ in this utterly gorgeous pattern.
@cmconseils please, fix Zaporozhie to Zaporizhzhia. In Ukraine we say Запоріжжя (with 2 жж - zhzh). Not Запорожие (Zaporozye). It russian transliteration. And transliteration must be from origin language.
In Taiwan the youth sues over climate and for a fair chance to a livable future. https://youtube.com/shorts/JN5XgF1qa6o?is=yB8Vhir1j1nPOW_3
@cmconseils
Hey! Please consider fixing the city spelling to Zaporizhzhia - that's the actual one.
Zaporozhye was a spelling during the soviet occupation and refers to the way russians pronounce it. In the light of ongoing genocide it is especially crucial to not misname the city. Thank you in advance
@cmconseils Zaporizhzhia
Thanks, I've rephrased it slightly to make it clearer!

Literally: The code-assistant sales pitch to business is that you can take open source code without ever having to read or obey the license it was released under.
Code-assistants are one of the biggest privatization and theft from the commons we have seen in a long time.
The Open Source community never learned that big tech is not trustworthy.
Maybe this time?

@cmconseils please, please fix: zaporizhzhia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zaporizhzhia
by continuing to misname #ukrainian toponyms by their russian aliases or (in this case) phonetical variants we are supporting russian aggressive imperialism and fascism.

@neil Do you have a guide you recommend for implementing RSS? Say, for a personal website where one is not using a batteries-included package like Wordpress
I've use mkdocs, hugo, and BSSG, and all have options for generating an RSS feed.
If you are not using a static site generator, then no, I don't have any experience with this, I'm afraid.
Kombucha can only be legally labeled as kombucha if it was brewed in the sewer.
I spent the last week and a half porting @brentsimmons's NetNewsWire and it's Swift codebase to Rust and GTK / Gnome. It is 90% functioning on Linux.
There's a few things left to add (like the ability to ADD a new feed LOL. I'm working off of an OPML file that I got from the mobile version of NetNewsWire) but it's fairly complete.
I wasn't happy with any of the RSS readers on Linux and wanted what I knew best.
Currently the git is still private until I'm 100% happy with it. Almost!
