@fullywoolly I don't know, but I can tell you that the EFF brief was not about how the works produced by LLMs can be used, but about whether the training itself is a fair use.

LA Times (on their article on California's success in avoiding blackouts) has this curious paragraph:

(so my question is... "must"?!)
@jamesmarshall I have not so far. Not sure how I’d stand out in a sea of AI & tech proposals. But on days like this, I think I do bring a unique perspective.
@Sheril yes on the unique perspective. It seems like a very important topic today and I can't think of anyone who would be more qualified to write this. I hope the book gets written and the right people read it.
