Minusta tuntuu, että kaikenlainen reaaliaikainen tapahtumasometus on pirstaloitunut ja hyytynyt kokonaan Suomessa. Siis se, että jollain isolla näytöllä näkyy somepäivitykset tapahtuman hashtagilla - tätä ilmiötä ei enää ole. X tappoi sen, Elon Muskin tappaessaan palvelun ja ilmaiset rajapinnat.
Nykyään ihmiset joko päivittävät satunnaisesti jotain X:ssä tai sitten ei ollenkaan. Porukka ei jostain syystä innostu Fediversumista ja usein somekanavana tuntuu olevan lähinnä Instagram. Tämänpäiväisen WordPress-tapahtuman päivityskanavana oli Slack, joka oli vähän ööh. Huomaan, että aika yksin olen esimerkiksi #wpfi häsärin alla, joka oli joitakin vuosia sitten vielä meidän alalla erittäin suosittu hashtag.
Tähän on tultu.

If anybody wonders my take on this stuff: I use basically every bit of new tech at home — it’s like Cyberpunk 2077 in my house, there’s drones, VR headsets etc. Why? I don’t want to be ignorant, and it’s not possible to secure what you don’t understand.
However - I don’t use AI at work. At all, I even refused Copilot. Why? I believe it’s a career advantage to not use those tools. I want to know what I am talking about. I don’t want to rely on Copilot either, because not every org will have it.

I guess VSCode here is just an example of a favorite $EDITOR that is discovered through personal experimentation: maybe your kid will like using zed or cursor, or ... emacs, lol.
