This seems to be an issue unique to Pleroma, people complain about it all the time.
For comparison: my instance was deployed in 2021 and \l+
shows 700 MB.
This is regular maintenance that is also done on every day databases, nothing special. The table bloat is a side-effect of how Postgres works and you can never get rid of it completely.
