I guess that’s one way to keep my account secure
@thomasfuchs I updated my air miles account to a long strong password. Apparently their form only went X characters and ignored the rest of it. So I don't know at what point it stopped or what it did. But I can't login anymore.
Somewhere between a sensible decision and an inexplicable one lies a third option, quietly eating a sandwich and waiting to see what happens. #gooderliving

@cogdog through Colorado and into Utah. We're staying in Kanab and caravaning out to some spot they picked for the actual wedding.
@brianb That's so cool, the southern Utah Canyonlands landscape was my favorite. If you come down the longer way through Escalante it's a treat. Capotol Reef NP is an underrated quite place too. And Bryce Canyon! Oh my.

Did not follow it very closely, but there are accusations of the US interfering in the election, and certainly Meta was using their dark arts to poison people's minds.
@mastodonmigration Meta briefly took down Lula’s page: https://www.techpolicy.press/on-eve-of-brazil-elections-meta-content-moderation-decisions-raise-questions/

So here’s the recent two guitars I have been working on. EVH tributes built to emulate my playing style and tone, but to be the fastest players I can build.
The necks are sanded, not finished, because a shredder knows how that works. Finsh on the neck makes way more resistance than bare wood… and if you are daring to be seen playing something like this, it better damn well be loud AND fast.
@thegibson Hells yes, woah!
So we all agree the wife's not really dead, right? #Monsterdon

The United States has removed its B-1 bombers from a U.K. air base one week after several men were arrested there on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts, a Pentagon official has said. https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2026/10/05/world/us-b-1-bombers-uk/?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=mastodon #worldnews #uk #iran #terrorism #us #usmilitary
@nickzoic @xssfox @ewenmcneill they still have time of day contra-flow on Kings Way don’t they?
@nickzoic @xssfox @ewenmcneill and if you’re really REALLY brave, you can drive the wrong way down the middle lane against the red lights, and the entire lane shuts down in both directions
"Are you sure about this?"
I dunno, it could've been someone ELSE being played by Vincent Price. Fuck off, flyboy!

I really enjoyed doing this talk about #Wikimedia and the #Fediverse at the #WMFHackathon in May. I just found this URL in my email box. Thanks @boz !
Hey, they got her into a gauzy nightdress. The movie's true goal has been achieved. #Monsterdon

@SimonCHulse I can't figure out where this is, or if it's just an old repost. I'd offer to help (because it looks exactly like the crew dragon trunk pieces that fell here in Sask so I have some vague idea how to cause an international incident), but reddit is just too chaotic...
@SimonCHulse Thank you for pointing it out, in any case, I'll keep an eye out for more info on this.
@sundogplanets here’s another one! https://www.reddit.com/r/whatisit/s/ZTsNdpKy86
