We ended up stopping in Fort Morgan because 14.5 hours seemed like enough. Tomorrow we'll head into Estes Park to explore and then drive south to Keystone for a couple of days.

@cogdog yup. Can't miss a wedding on the canyon (never been there either) and driving is the only way to haul four kids across the country 😅
@brianb are you crossing west across Colorado and south through Utah, or south to New Mexico and west into Arizona.
@cogdog through Colorado and into Utah. We're staying in Kanab and caravaning out to some spot they picked for the actual wedding.
@brianb That's so cool, the southern Utah Canyonlands landscape was my favorite. If you come down the longer way through Escalante it's a treat. Capotol Reef NP is an underrated quite place too. And Bryce Canyon! Oh my.
